94th Academy Awards: Best Show Moments — Looking back the 2022 Oscars were quite the spectacle. There were big wins and great songs, in addition to one of Hollywood’s most infamous unscripted moments.

Will Smith shook the world when he got on stage to slap presenter Chris Rock during the March 27, 2022 ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The assault was over a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Later, Will would win the Best Actor Oscar.

Things weren’t all drama on stage. Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, and Regina King hosted the show, and presenters included Lady Gaga, Jennifer Garner and Tiffany Haddish. Beyonce opened the show with an amazing performance (seen in this photo). In addition, the awards also featured a tribute to 60 years of the James Bond movie franchise, celebration of The Godfather for its 50th anniversary, and the first live performance of Encanto’s ‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno.’
