It was a starry evening at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, 2025! Celebrating “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” most celebrity guests arrived in looks that fully embraced the theme — from chic pantsuits to simply sleek gowns.
As the public knows, the Met Gala can occasionally be one huge, ridiculous costume party for some guests. In the past, a handful of stars have shown up wearing questionable outfits, such as Jared Leto‘s fuzzy kitten suit at the 2023 Met Gala.
