Lauren Morelli & Samira Wiley Photos — Over seven seasons of Orange is the New Black, star Samira Wiley and writer Lauren Morelli grew close, and then a romance blossomed following Samira’s divorce. After Samira ended her marriage with husband Stephen Basilone in 2014, she and Lauren began dating, then marrying in a beautiful ceremony in 2017. The happy couple announced on May 9, 2021 (Mother’s Day), that they had welcomed their first child together. Little George Elizabeth was born on April 11, after Lauren experienced a “three days of laboring,” according to Samira.
