John Corbett has been a heartthrob for as long as he’s been in the business. Before he was stealing hearts as Aidan Shaw on Sex & The City, John had his first breakthrough role in the CBS series Northern Exposure. He earned a Golden Globe and Emmy nomination for his performance in the series.

John made millions of fans swoon when he joined Sex & The City as Aidan Shaw, Carrie’s first serious boyfriend after Big. The Team Aidan fandom got stronger and stronger. He played Aidan for two seasons before Carrie and Aidan went their separate ways for good. John did make an appearance in Sex and the City 2 before reprising the role of Aidan in season 2 of the sequel series And Just Like That.

In addition to Sex & The City, John has also been a part of the My Big Fat Greek Wedding and To All The Boys franchises. John has been a consistent presence in our lives for years, and it’s always a joy to see him onscreen. See photos of the actor then and now in our gallery.
