Harry Belafonte passed away at the age of 96 on April 25, 2023. Harry has had a long and influential career as an influential activist and the undisputed ‘King of Calypso.’ But beyond his music, movies, and stage shows, he has a rich personal life, and a loving family of four children.

Harry, born Mar. 1, 1927, shares eldest daughters, Adrienne and Shari, with first wife Marguerite Byrd, and his two youngest children, David and Gina, with second wife Julie Robinson. Harry is currently married to third wife Pamela Frank. 

Each of Harry’s children, now adults, have forged their own paths, but have stayed closely connected to their father and his legacy. Here, Harry Belafonte with daughters Shari and Gina after Gregory Peck’s funeral in Los Angeles in 2003. The trio was dressed in black and despite the somber occasion, they were able to find something to smile about.
