Celebs Wearing Vivienne Westwood — The fashion world suffered a huge loss with the death of Vivienne Westwood on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2022. The 81-year-old British pioneer passed away after creating a legendary label with her eccentric designs and styles, which helped usher in the punk fashion period and catapulted her to fame in the 70s. She was even awarded the OBE (Officer of the British Empire) in 1992 by the late Queen Elizabeth II. “I will continue with Vivienne in my heart,” Andreas Kronthaler, Westwood’s husband and creative partner, said while announcing the designer’s death.

Her designs have become a staple on Hollywood’s red carpets over the years, with stars from Kim Kardashian to Kate Hudson to Olivia Rodrigo sporting the fabulous gowns at events like the Oscars.
