ACM Awards Highlights 2019 — See The Show’s Best Moments — The Academy of Country Music Awards 2019 on April 7 were a star-studded affair. A who’s who of Nashville’s finest were in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to watch country legend Reba McEntire host the show for an impressive 16th time. The ‘Does He Love’ you singer was on hand to steer the show, which included performances by country music heavyweights like Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood and ‘This Is Us’ fan favorite, actress Chrissy Metz. Reba’s return to host the 54th ACM Awards came two days after the performer released her new album ‘Stronger Than The Truth’ on April 5. Ahead of the ACMs – which aired on CBS – Reba did an impressive amount of promotional interviews on everything from ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’ and ‘The Talk’ to ‘PBS News Hour.’ There’s a reason why the hardworking mom is dubbed the reigning Queen of Country Music.
