āGleeā Ending After 6 Seasons
āThe final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel (Lea Michele) and Cory/Finnās story,ā Ryan said at the event at Los Angelesā Paley Center, which honored FX Networks. āI always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was ā he was in it. I knew what the last line was ā she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so weāre figuring that out now.ā
As for the final season, Ryan does know what he wants to do ā and it will honor FInn.
āI have a good idea,ā he added. āIām going to tell the studio and the network [in a week] how after Coryās unfortunate passing we can end the show that I think is very satisfactory. And kind of in his honor, which I love.ā
